Impacted by our family’s experiences with multiple generations on the Autism Spectrum and inspired by our son Mark’s unique perception of the world, shaped by his neurodivergent condition, we embarked on our journey to support and help improve the lives of others whose Worlds are defined through their neurological diversity.
Drawing from years of observation and interactions with vocational, speech and physical therapists, and witnessing the transformative influence of sensory toys and other items used as an integral part of those therapies, we went on to establish MARKSWORLDS.ORG, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the availability and viability of those sensory tools while fostering an inclusive environment.
Our Mission is to help alleviate stress and anxiety, of people of all ages with neurodiverse conditions by promoting awareness of sensory toys and other items commonly used as tools to address those conditions, and to help advance the social, play and fitness aspects of their lives.
